	2008 -2009 China World Heritage Photo Contest & Exhibition The 5th Annual “China World Heritage Photo Contest & Exhibition” was held in November, 2008. The themes were "China World Heritage Sites" and "Chinatowns Around the World". There was also a special feature on “Beijing” to celebrate the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing. Only pictures of World Heritage sites in China and Chinatowns around the world were eligible entries. Selective entries were exhibited at various locations in Metro Toronto. The Photo Contest was an international competition. Through the appreciation of photographic images of China World Heritage sites, we sought to encourage the education, appreciation and preservation of cultural relics and historical treasures of China. These sites are considered to be of outstanding value to humanity. See More>>
	2008 China World Heritage Cultural Tour – October, 2008 From October 11-22, 2008, our 5th annual Cultural Tour took us to South China Karst in Yunnan, The Old Town of Lijiang, and the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Area. The first Cultural Tour being a tour of the Silk Road was held in 2004. The second tour took us to the Yangtze River, and the third to Shanxi & Henan provinces. The fourth toured Jilin, Liaoning and Shandong. Through visiting the many world heritage sites in China then showcasing them in our annual Photo Contests and Fundraising Galas, we hope to raise the profile of the beautiful scenery and objects in China, and foster a better understanding of the profound history of China. 	2008 An Evening with Chinese Treasures - Gala Royale On March 8, 2008, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Canadian Foundation for Chinese Heritage Preservation held its seventh annual Chinese Treasures Gala and Auction to raise funds in support of its work. See more>>

The theme was “China World Heritage Sites” with special feature “Jilin, Liaoning & Shandong”. Photos that were taken at any World Heritage Sites in China are eligible to participate in this contest. 	"Treasures from China" Chinese Artifacts Exhibition - May 11 to October 28, 2007 In cooperation with The Canadian Museum of Civilization (CMC), an exhibition “Treasures from China" hold at the Museum from May 11 to October 28, 2007. This exhibition was a joint partnership between the CMC and the National Museum of China. This exhibition showed some of the finest artefacts of human civilization, illuminating the rich history and achievements of the Chinese people. See More>>
	2007Dim Sum Chinese Festival Dim Sum Chinese Festival held on July 20th to 22nd, 2007. At the opening of festival, Friday July 20, 2007, The Canadian Foundation for Chinese Heritage Preservation held a “China World Heritage Sites” presentation. The 45-minutes lecture will provide some background introduction on Chinese history and culture, as well as an introduction of all the 30+ heritage sites in China. See More>>
	2007 China World Heritage Cultural Tour In August 4- 26, 2007, we organized our annual Cultural Tour visiting Jilin, Liaoning and Shandong Provinces. This was our 4^th annual cultural tour, the first that toured the Silk Road was held in 2004, the second that toured the Yangtze River was held in 2005, and the third that toured Shanxi & Henan provinces was held last year. We hope, through visiting the many world heritage sites in China, we can help Chinese culture enthusiasts to better understand the profound history of China. See More>>
